Each audiobook is delivered as a digital downloadable zipped folder containing the entire audiobook as mp3 files, one for each chapter/section. A confirmation email contains the zipped folder link. You can download the zip file immediately. A zip file downloads faster than downloading individual mp3 audio files, especially since some audiobooks contain more than 10 audio files and as many as 100. To unzip the files, please follow the instructions here in the FAQ titled “How to unzip the download”. Instructions are also included after the purchase in the confirmation email. We have tested the time it takes to download the zip folder that includes a 4-hour audiobook, and with a high speed internet connection, the download time was 2 minutes.
Audiobooks purchased at Better Life Audio but fulfilled by Amazon-Audible or another outside service will automatically use their download service.
